BLUE EARTH — The Springfield Legion baseball team advanced to the finals of its Division II district tournament with a 9-5 win against Jackson on Saturday.

Branden Flock got the win in 4 2/3 innings with four strikeouts. Tanner Vogel was 3 for 4, Decker Scheffler was 2 for 4 and Hunter Mathiowetz was 2 for 4 with two RBIs.

Springfield will play either Blue Earth or Luverne in the finals at 6 p.m. Sunday in Blue Earth.
