SLEEPY EYE — Sleepy Eye VFW swept Sioux Falls West 5-3 and 9-8 in a VFW baseball doubleheader on Tuesday.

In the first game, Nick Labat was 2 for 3 with an RBI and Jacob Berg was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Matt Sellner went the distance and struck out seven in the win.

In Game 2, Jace Marotz was 2 for 3 and Henry Scheitel was 2 for 4 with two RBIs. Kyle Domeier was 2 for 2 with an RBI.

Sleepy Eye (8-6) hosts Hutchinson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
