FARIBAULT – The New Ulm girl’s hockey team defeated Faribault 4-1 on Tuesday.

Alli Beltz scored two goals for New Ulm while Elle Cooper and Ashtyn Wiltscheck also added goals.

Karlie Ries had 22 saves in the win.

New Ulm (1-1) hosts Mankato West at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
