NEW?ULM - Marlene and Vince Sandhurst of Sandhurst Creations are once again firing up their kilns and producing unique ceramic works exclusively for distribution through The Gnome's Trove. The Sandhursts closed their shop on Minnesota Street about 10 years ago but maintained a studio to keep current on new ceramic materials and techniques.
In addition to their signature pieces of apple and blueberry themed food safe stoneware, the Sandhursts are creating all new pieces including an 11-inch tall Hermann The German statue, new designs on mugs and a wide variety of gnomes.
The Gnome's Trove is located at 508 1st North Street (behind City Hall) and specializes in being an outlet for local artisans to offer their creations as well as performing a wide array of electronic device repair services. They can be reached at 507-354-0158.
