The Journal

NEW ULM - The New Ulm Public Utilities Commission will meet today at 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

The PUC will consider authorizing staff to advertise bids for various water system improvement projects planned by the Water Department. The projects include the Hermann Heights water tower demolition and repainting of the Airport water tower. The combined estimated cost of all the projects is around $1.324 million. The projects will be funded from the proceeds of the recent $2.95 million bond sale.

The PUC will also review the process and deadlines for its 2014 budget and provide information on projects for several items in the budget.
