PREP BOYS BASKETBALL: Mustangs hold off Rabbits in Tomahawk battle

BLHS 66, Wabasso 63

WABASSO - Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart defeated Wabasso in Tomahawk Conference boys basketball action Monday.

Neil Eichten led the Rabbits with 38 points and Seth Guetter scored 10 points.

Tate Lange led the Mustangs with 16 points and Kyle Pagenkopf finished with 15 points.

BLHS (10-7) is at Springfield Friday and Wabasso (8-11) hosts Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop on Thursday.

Springfield 93, GFW 84

SPRINGFIELD - Springfield won a Tomahawk Conference battle with Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Monday.

Christopher Kretsch led the Tigers with 26 points and Cole Milbrath had 25 points and 10 rebounds. Tyler Vogel finished with 15 points.

For the Thunderbirds, Seth Schuette had 25 points and Brett Rickheim had 16 points.

Springfield (14-5, 9-3) hosts BLHS on Friday. GFW (6-12) is at Wabasso Thursday.

CM/C 78, Sleepy Eye 36

COMFREY - Cedar Mountain/Comfrey defeated Sleepy Eye Monday night in a Tomahawk Conference boys basketball game.

Sam Pendleton led the Cougars with 13 points and Henry Pendleton scored 11 points.

Brandon Polesky led Sleepy Eye with eight points and Tyler Netzke scored seven points.

CM/C (13-3, 11-1) travels to play Westbrook-Walnut Grove tonight. Sleepy Eye (6-12, 3-8) hosts New Ulm Cathedral (2-13, 2-10) Friday night.
