Wabasso 70, Springfield 41

WABASSO - Wabasso defeated Springfield Friday night in Tomahawk Conference girls basketball action.

Karlee Eichten scored 14 points and Chelsey Guetter scored 10 points for the Rabbits.

Jordan Salonek scored 16 points to lead the Tigers.

Wabasso (9-2, 5-1) hosts Red Rock Central tonight.

Springfield (7-6, 4-4) hosts Redwood Valley Monday night.

MVL 53, CM/C 45

MORGAN-Minnesota Valley Lutheran had three players in double figures as it defeated Cedar Mountain/Comfrey Friday night in Tomahawk Conference girls basketball.

Mariah Schoof had 14 points and eight rebounds and Sarah Burk and Charlotte Pfingsten each scored 10 points for the Chargers.

Alli Madsen scored 12 points and Brianna Lund scored 11 points for the Cougars.

MVL (13-1, 7-0) is at New Ulm Cathedral Tuesday night.

CMC (6-5, 4-3) hosts Truman tonight.

Sleepy Eye 68, GFW 48

SLEEPY EYE-Sleepy Eye had four players in double figures as it defeated Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Friday night in Tomahawk Conference girls basketball action.

Josie Schieffert scored 22 points and had seven rebounds, Justine Gonzalez scored 15 points, McKayla Ahlrich scored 11 points and Claire Krumbach scored 10 points and had eight rebounds.

Halley Busse scored 23 points for the Thunderbirds.

Sleepy Eye plays Buffalo Lake-Hector Stewart Tuesday night.
