Schulke’s online work shows New Ulm

November 5, 2012
The Journal

To the editor:

The works of New Ulm's own internationally renowned photojournalist, Flip Schulke, will continue to promote New Ulm world-wide for a long time. The federal Environmental Protection Agency hired Flip during the 1970s to produce photo essays of life in New Ulm and the Florida Keys. Now there is a website dedicated to this project.

Go to your computer search engine and enter "Documerica." Then click on "Collection: Documerica Project by the Environmental." Then click on "Flip Schulke." Up will come 464 photos of New Ulm and the Florida Keys mixed together. You'll see such photos as an aerial view of New Ulm, Franklin School, Concord Singers, Kiesling Park, numerous people, and much more. Enjoy.
