I doubt that they will ask for it this time, but considering that all three buildings are over 50 years old (and weren't they all built at around the same time, give or take a decade) we will someday need to have the conversation about building a new school on a new campus.

It will be tough to get the financial support for such an endeavor. Didn't Mankato just approve a nearly $70 million referendum to support the building of a new school again?

We can keep kicking the can down the road, and in the case of our schools we can probably add on again, but eventually we will need to start finding ways to fund our infrastructure, schools, etc. or we will have no chance in competing in the world marketplace for the long term.

An entire generation has used the resources that its parents' generation paid for after returning from World War II. They have failed to pay it forward as their parents did for them.
