To the editor: Bicyclists, children and adults alike, need to know that the rules of the road apply to them as well as autos. Stop signs and red lights mean you must STOP....

This is true but Ms. Lieske statement that bicyclists need to ride single file is still false.

Thomas4 - you "can" ride two abreast but cannot impede traffic in doing so.

Nice letter, I agree with most of the content but if your going to be the voice of law enforcement you should realize that riding single file is NOT the law you ARE allowed to ride two abreast and motor vehicles MUST leave a 3 foot clearance until safely past the bycyclists.
