To the editor:

I am writing to express my support for Andrea Boettger and her candidacy for City Council President. I have known Andrea for a few years through my work at Turner Hall. After getting to know her and how she works to get things done, I have no doubt she will make an excellent Councilor at Large and will lead our city council well.

Andrea has an outstanding work ethic and knows what it takes to bring success to anything she is involved with. I have learned a lot from her over the past couple of years, most notably her drive for quality. She dedicates her time and efforts to make sure that everything she touches is an astounding success. Andrea leads by example and is always willing to do what it takes to get a job done right.

Andrea would be an asset to our city as Council President. She will listen to people with an open mind and will make smart choices that drive results for our city. She is a team player that will collaborate with others, be respectful of differences, and welcome new ideas. She has spent the last two years attending council meetings regularly and is on the Chamber Board of Directors. Andrea is aware of what has been happening locally for the past several years, and will be able to step in to her role as Council President with a working knowledge of what is expected without missing a beat.

Andrea can make tough decisions when it is necessary, and can problem solve when there may be another way. I look up to Andrea as a role model because of her ambition, compassion, and heart she brings to both her professional and personal life.

Andrea has a mindset that everyone should strive to have. Anyone would be fortunate to be able to call her a boss, friend, constituent, mentor, and hopefully City Council President. Andrea can count on my vote for the upcoming election, and I encourage you to vote Andrea too!
