Who was subverting justice?

To the editor:

A July 20th letter in The Journal has this quotation from the BLM website: “#Black Lives Matter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer.” Originally, police had declined to arrest and charge George Zimmerman. Then, after the case went to trial, Zimmerman was found not guilty of second-degree murder, and not guilty of manslaughter. On what is the assumption based that this verdict was wrong? The investigation done by Joel Gilbert suggests that injustice (e.g., witness tampering) was to be found on the other side. See his documentary, The Trayvon Hoax.

May we look forward to an all-out effort by BLM to promote this documentary in an effort to combat violence and racial strife and work for justice and peace?
