Our disconnect from reality

To the editor:

Noted that Minn. drivers licenses will now have the option to let people identify themselves as ‘non-gender’ which will be marked ‘X’ instead of male or female. One legislator commented: “Will this change hamper law enforcement’s ability to properly identify suspects, or hinder the investigative process in any way?”

So where is all this ‘transgender’ ‘no gender’ stuff taking us? I read last year where a 69-year-old Dutch man is petitioning the court to alter his birth certificate to show he was born 20 years later, because he ‘feels’ like a 49-year-old. Imagine a future license that identifies a 70-year-old driver as 19, and who weighs 250 pounds but identifies as 130 pounds because he “feels like it?” Imagine an officer trying write up a suspect who hands him that kind of license?

How did all this “disconnect from reality” begin? Was it in 1973 when the American Psychiatric Association (APA) removed homosexuality as a mental disorder from the APA’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-2)? (The decision was not based on scientific evidence, but instead was forced when homosexual activists decided to disrupt previous APA conferences starting in 1970 by interrupting speakers and shouting down and ridiculing psychiatrists who viewed homosexuality as a mental disorder.) Then in the 1980’s Kirk and Madsen’s ‘After the Ball’ book revealed how this victory is being implemented: “We mean a conversion of the average American’s emotions, mind, and will, through a planned psychological attack, in the form of propaganda fed to the nation via the media.”

In 2019,the “media feed’ continues it’s disconnection from reality. There is actually a bill going before Congress, H.R.2282, S.1006 the ‘Equality Act’ which proposes to redefine sex across all federal laws. ‘Gender Identity’ will be added to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as a prohibited form of discrimination in public spaces, I.E. restrooms, lockers dressing rooms; it will protect those of opposite sex who want to enter spaces designated for one sex only.

There is no scientific test to determine one’s ‘gender identity’; it’s just based on feelings: ‘I feel like I am a female, or male, or something neutral’. Indeed, the APA’s DSM-5 stated that 70-97 percent of children who have this gender dysphoria problem will out-grow it by adulthood.

Maybe someday Dr. M.L.King’s 1964 initiative will morph/evolve to include black men who wish to be identified as white females, or white women identified as black men, etc.

Please go online via Activist Mommy or other websites to petition our legislators to reject H.R.2282, S.1006; if for no other reason than to make future law enforcement reports a little more coherent.
