To the editor:

I would like to thank everyone also that contacted me in regards to my letters. These people were very supportive and thanked me. The only reason I wrote these letters is due to the fact that Investigator Hohensee and Kristi Hose are attacking the Drug Task Force. I stand by my letters and I know the truth and nothing I said was deceitful. I was commander for many years after Investigator Hohensee and I really got to dig through everything. I explained to the public in one of my letters that I will stand by the DTF and its members and I am doing that. There are many things that were said in this campaign that I could have responded to but I did not. The fact is that the DTF was rebuilt by support and hard work from a lot of people. The DTF is stable and are working good cases. It’s very simple — leave it alone, nothing is wrong with it. If you want to support it great but don’t try to bring it down to gain something.
