For most school employees, summer has officially started. The regular school year activities and programs have culminated. They are looking forward to a time to decompress and spend time with family. There are some staff who will be working to help with summer programs.

We offer summer programs at all of our sites. Summer school is planned for all grades, community education classes are scheduled throughout the summer, our sports fields will have many town teams playing on them and Kids Connection will meet during most of the summer. We are happy to provide programming and spaces for our kids and community.

When the regular school year ends, we transition to summer cleaning and maintenance projects. Our custodial and maintenance teams will take time to deep clean of all rooms in each building. This is our chance to get into each space and clean everything from top to bottom; call it our spring cleaning if you will.

Our summer maintenance work plans are to upgrade bathrooms, touch-up paint where needed, fix sidewalks with tripping hazards, re-seed grass where needed and inspect and/or repair roof sections as necessary. It is important to develop a cleaning and maintenance schedule so our buildings and equipment are kept in top shape for our students and community. We take pride in what we have.

Each of our school offices will be open 7:00am-3:30pm during the summer. There may be times when the offices are closed for vacations or cleaning. Please call ahead before you come to make sure someone will be there for you. We will update our website to keep you informed of summer activities and the fall school information as it is published.
