Mary Ellen Domeier: “They loved all things New Ulm. Look at the many organizations they served.”
Terry Johnson: “Bruce was a good organizer. He made things flow right. If not, he’d do it. My wife and I were in many things with them.”
Rick Jensen: “I lived next to them. Bruce was often out in the yard, keeping it nice. It’s different not having them around.”
Pat Hartman: “I was Barb’s caregiver. They were great at whatever they were involved in.”
Linda Wieland: “Bruce was Mr. New Ulm. As a boss he was a wonderful man. Even after I left The Journal, he always came up and talked to me.”
Karen Otto, Delano: “I knew him from the Sister Cities Commission. We became close friends, staying with Bruce and Barb when we came to New Ulm.”
