Funeral service will be 11 AM Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with Father Gerald Meidl officiating. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9 – 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.

The Christian Mother’s Society will pray the rosary at 4 PM Tuesday at the Cathedral.

Theresa is survived by her daughters, Monica (Myron) Hillesheim of New Ulm, Rita (Ron) Geiger of Sleepy Eye, Judy Murphy of New Ulm and Eileen (Duane) Kral of New Ulm; sons, Mike (Jane) Domeier of New Ulm, Charles (Sue) Domeier of Hanska and Jerry Domeier of Eden Prairie; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Sylvester Domeier on December 2, 2020; sisters, Verna Stueber, Elizabeth (Paul) Goblirsch, Marie (Earl) Olsen, Adeline (Marlow) Halverson; and by her brother, Leo T. (Marie) Stueber.

Theresa Agnes Stueber was born October 23, 1929 in New Ulm to Edward and Helena (Ziegenhagen) Stueber. She attended St. Mary’s Grade School and was a graduate of Holy Trinity High School. Theresa was united in marriage to Sylvester Domeier on May 1, 1951 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. She was employed at the Vogel Clinic and then as a dairy farmers wife until they moved to New Ulm in 2008. Theresa’s hobbies included playing cards, puzzles of all kinds and was a lifelong New York Yankees fan.

Theresa was a member of the Cathedral Parish, Christian Mother’s Society and St. Joseph – St. Elizabeth Catholic United.
