Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springfield.

Service will be held at the St. Raphael Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m..

The clergy will be Father Garrett Ahlers. Interment will be at the St. Raphael Catholic Cemetery in Springfield.

John R. Roeser was born on May 14, 1931, the son of George and Mary (Tauer) Roeser in Springfield. He attended and graduated from Springfield High School. John served in the National Guard. He worked for Lindley Motors. In 1974 he started working for Minnegasco and retired from that company. He was a member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. John enjoyed coffee time at Fritz, taking long drives, and going on bike rides.

He is survived by his brother, David Roeser of Minneapolis; nephew, Ken (Gwen) Lang; nieces, Juli (Eric) Wahlborg and Mary (Keith) Veenstra; and niece-in-law, Teresa Lang. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kathleen Lang and nephews, Tom Lang and David Roeser, Jr.
