Anasatasia “Stacy” Rose Marie Miller

Anastasia “Stacy” Rose Marie Miller passed away peacefully, on January 1, 2021, surrounded by her loving family and her devoted dog, Sadie.

She was born on March 4, 1930 to Willam P. and Anastasia (Hillesheim) Domeier of New Ulm, MN. She grew up in New Ulm, and attended Holy Trinity Catholic High School. In 1954, she married William (Bill) Miller of Richfield. Anastasia “Stacy” served with the Bloomington school system for 25 years in food service management. In 1999, Stacy and Bill moved to the Longville area where they shared family time with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. With husband Bill, she spent a lot of time bird watching, enjoying sunset pontoon trips and trail rides through the woods in the 1946 Willy’s Jeep. Stacy was very active at Salem Lutheran Church and the Longville Area Food Shelf. On Stacy’s 80th birthday, she declared that from that day forward she would go by her given name of Anastasia.

Anastasia is survived by her children, Steve (Jill) Miller of Kimball, Dale Miller of Bloomington and Wendy Weegman of Elk River; son-in-law, Chris Weegman; grandchildren, Erin Curtis, Dana (Matt) Gutzmann, Andrea Miller, Ryan Weegman and Jacob Miller; great-grandchildren Cole and Rylin Curtis; brothers Tommy (Bonnie) Domeier of Delton, Michigan, Robert (Mary Ellen) Domeier of New Ulm; brother-in-law Larry Goettl of Owatonna; sisters-in-law, Delphine Domeier, Kathy Domeier of New Ulm, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Miller, parents; William and Anastasia Domeier; brothers Stanley, Ferdie, William, Jim and Charles; Sisters Betty and Ruthie; sisters-in-law Imelda, Irene, and Alice.

A celebration of life will take place during the summer of 2021 at Salem Lutheran Church, Longville.
