A private family funeral service will be held at the Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls, with burial to follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery in Redwood Falls. A video of the service will be posted and available for viewing on the www.nelson-hillestad.com website beginning Tuesday, Dec. 1. A celebration of life service will be held in the spring/summer of 2021.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you plant a tree or shrub in Marlene’s memory. Memorials preferred to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
