Ted Robert Furth was born June 25, 1958, in New Ulm to James and Ruth (Stout) Furth. He was a 1976 graduate from Cathedral High School. Ted was united in marriage to Tammy Tauer on September 22, 1984, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm. This union blessed the couple with three daughters whom together they raised in New Ulm. Ted had a lifelong passion for rock and roll music and cars; especially collector cars. He pursued this passion by starting his own business, where he was able to put his passion to work finding and selling the rare collectables. Ted was known by many as a personable and social man. He could start a conversation with anyone. He had a tremendous sense of humor, and a real love for life. Ted dearly enjoyed travelling the country searching for the next collectable and going for rides on his motorcycle. He enjoyed the work he did in life, but what he was most proud of was his family. His daughters and wife were always his rock. What he wanted to be known in life for was being a great dad; and that he was. Although his passing seems sudden and unexpected to many, countless cherished memories will forever stay in the hearts and minds of those who knew him best. Blessed be those memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, NUACS, The American Heart Assn., American Diabetes Assn., or the donor’s choice.
