She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Wills.

Sharon “Sheri” Ann Wills was born April 8, 1963, in New Ulm to Richard and Donna (Hillesheim) Wills. She was one of the last classes to attend school in the one room schoolhouse near Clear Lake-District 179, and later was a 1981 graduate from New Ulm Public High School. She then attended the Mankato Vocational College where she studied sales marketing management. Sheri was united in marriage to Dennis Johnson on June 1, 1991, at the New Ulm Country Club in New Ulm and later made their home in rural Madelia. Sheri dedicated many of her years working for the Crystal Valley Co-op in the accounts payable department. Early in her life, Sheri enjoyed the unique hobbies of driving stock cars, and demolition derby cars. She had a lifelong love of animals and flowers. To relax, Sheri loved going for walks with her dogs and spending time with her family, her friends, and her husband Denny. Her laughter could be heard above a crowd. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Although Sheri passed at such a young age, countless wonderful memories will forever stay in the minds of all who knew her best.

“I may have gone before you and earlier than expected. But when we meet again, I will welcome you with laughter and hugs in the halls of Heaven. I love to reminisce, so reminisce about me! That way I will always be in your heart, and I can still make you laugh!” -Sheri Johnson
