Amy Louise Bloedel

NEW ULM — Amy Louise Bloedel (née Berka), age 51, of New Ulm, left this world on September 20, 2020 at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is assisting her family with arrangements.

Amy was the beloved wife of Garland, mother of Emily (Jerrod Landgren), daughter of John and Sherry Berka, sister of Sarah (Daniel) Misgen and Tom (Becky Sanders) Berka, sister in law of Gwen and Mike Clancy, aunt of Rowan Sanderka and Jordan and Gavin Misgen and Ally, Nick, and Caity Clancy, niece of Phyllis Berka, Rita and Sy Dykhouse, Marcia Belka, and fur “mom” to Pedro, Max, Bruiser, and Snowball.

Amy’s passion for life and love for others led to many adventures. An active member of the New Ulm community, she loved helping animals at the humane society. She attained her MBA in 2016 and was actively working on her Masters of Accounting. She loved to travel with family and friends, especially to Hawaii.

She is so loved and will be missed.
