Ardis Vera Heath was born on October 19, 1934, in Waseca to Arthur & Noreen (Schumann) Heath. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Lokensgard on January 28, 1951, in Janesville. This union blessed the couple with two daughters and three sons. Ardis was employed at the Good Samaritan Home, 3M, and the Farmers Co-op of Lafayette. Besides her work, there were a variety of activities she enjoyed in life. Countless hours were spent enjoying the Minnesota summers tending her beautiful gardens. She enjoyed sharing her talents for quilting with family and friends. Many cherished memories and laughs were shared with the family at the cabin over the years. Ardis also dearly loved getting to entertain and partake in family get-togethers. Ardis enjoyed her 5 o’clock brandy to wind down at the end of the day. What she loved most in life was getting to be with her family and getting to see her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. She was a dedicated member of the First Lutheran Church in Lafayette, WELCA, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Although Ardis is no longer with us, countless cherished memories will stay in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Blessed be those memories.
