Lanny Kiecker

FAIRFAX — Lanny Kiecker, 78, of rural Fairfax, died on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. He was a resident of the Fairfax Community Home.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax by invitation only due to COVID-19 seating restrictions. Public interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Public Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25 at the church. Please enter in the west entrance by the parking lot. Social distance and masks are encouraged.

Lanny’s service will be recorded and available live via Zoom. For details email llkiecker@gmail.com by July 23rd for Zoom instructions and the meeting ID number.

Military Honors by the Fairfax Military Honor Guard at the cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax.

Lanny James Kiecker was born to Clifford and Mary (Case) Kiecker on May 21, 1941 at Sleepy Eye Hospital. Lanny is survived by his wife, Louise of Fairfax; daughters, Kari Burshem of Andover, Dynnette Mularczyk of St. Michael, and Tonya Kiecker of Otsego; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Susan Taylor of St. Paul Park.
