Alice E. Redman

KASSON — Alice E. Redman, 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020 at the Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center.

Alice Elsie Martha Tabbert was born to Henry Tabbert and Selma Kelm-Tabbert on July 22, 1938 in Round Grove Township (near Stewart). She graduated from Winthrop and then graduated from Mankato Business School. She worked at IBM for 27+ years and retired as a Product Development Manager. Alice was a very giving person, volunteering as the Treasurer for both St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kasson, and the VFW Women’s Auxiliary.

Alice married Lowell Redman in 1958. She is survived by sons Randy and Rick (Beth) Redman; grandsons Derik Tully, Randy Redman, Jr, and Dylan Redman and one great-grandson, Grady Redman.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband Lowell; brothers Hibbert (Emma), Clarence (Selma), Melvin (Gloria), and Ivan (Vivian), and sisters Marcella (Elroy), and Dorothy (George). She enjoyed family time, visiting with friends, traveling, fishing on Leech Lake, and spent years researching/documenting her family tree.

A private graveside service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
