A private family graveside service will be held at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery in Fairmont. Arrangements are with Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn.

Gary was born Dec. 24, 1928, in Fraser Township, Fairmont, to Ted and Lena (Roth) Schwieger.

He served in the Korean War in 1950-1952.

He is survived by his wife, Marian Schwieger, of Sherburn; daughter Lori Beseke of Alpha; two grandsons, seven great-grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Anderst, Eunice Day, Marlene Griffith, and brother Lynn Schwieger.
