NEW ULM — Merle Frank, age 77 of New Ulm, died on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Oaklawn Nursing Home in Mankato. Merle’s wishes was not to have a funeral but to have his ashes scattered somewhere fun! Merle was born July 2, 1942 in New Ulm to Fred and Viola (Ginkel) Frank. Merle is survived by his sister, Shirley (Frank) Pischke, Niece, Shelley (John) Brandt, Eagle Lake, Jerry Pischke, Mankato and Jack Frank, New Ulm and many great nieces and nephews and of course his feathered friends as well. Merle is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerome Frank, Brother-in-law, Rolly Pischke and his special stepdad Glen Current.
