Darlene Marie Clyne was born on January 13, 1940, in New Ulm to John & Anne (Fleck) Clyne. She was a 1958 graduate from the Cathedral High School in New Ulm where she proudly marched as a majorette in the marching band. On June 25, 1960, Darlene was united in marriage to Richard Konakowitz in New Ulm. This union blessed the couple with two sons and two daughters whom together they raised in Hanska. Besides raising her family, Darlene worked a 26 year career as a Production Supervisor at MRCI in New Ulm. Her work at MRCI was more than just a job to her. She truly loved her clients that she got to work with over the years, and took great pride in seeing them succeed. To relax, Darlene could be found tending to her gardens, or watching a good Nascar race with her husband Richard. Darlene had a keen eye for interior home décor and loved putting her talents to use in her own home with home holiday decoration always being her favorite. Darlene was a long time member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. What Darlene loved most in life was spending time with her family. She truly loved each moment she got to spend with them, and especially loved getting to see her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow. Darlene will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Blessed be her memory.
