Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 13, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with interment in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday, September 12, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Hans Roland Kranz was born on the family farm of rural Gaylord, on May 26, 1948, to Roland and Emily (Trout) Kranz.

Hans is survived by his wife, Shirley (Becker) Kranz of Gaylord; children, Alexandra Monroe of Lawrenceburg, Ky., Preston Kranz of Horace, N.D., Mitchell Kranz of Gaylord, Ruth Williams of Gaylord, Luke Kranz of Gaylord, and Barrett Kranz of Delano; 28 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; sisters, Arlene Jacobson, Virginia Briard, and Cheyenne Bernstein.
