Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at the St. John Lutheran Church in Springfield. Interment will be at the Springfield City Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Friday, July 12 at the Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield Chapel and will continue on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church in Springfield.

David Albert Anderson was born on May 29, 1941, to Theodore and Florence (Frederiksen) Anderson at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

He is survived by children, Lynn Anderson, Kristin Wersal, Jennifer Smetana, and Mackenzie Anderson; nine grandchildren; a brother, James Anderson; and sisters, Karen Eller and Kay Pingeon.
