NEW ULM — Jerome “Jerry” Frank, 84, of New Ulm died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with Pastor Timothy Smith officiating. Burial will be in the New Ulm City Cemetery, Soldier’s Rest Section with full military honors being conducted by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard. Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Minnesota Valley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Frank is survived by his son, Jack Frank of New Ulm; sister, Shirley Pischke of Mankato; brother, Merle Frank of New Ulm. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Roland Pischke.

Jerome Fred Frank was born on Nov. 3, 1934 in New Ulm to Fred and Viola (Ginkel) Frank. He served in the U.S. Air Force. In 1960 he was united in marriage to Janet Scharbach and later divorced. Jerome owned and operated Carpentry & Cabinet Shop in New Ulm. He enjoyed watching the MInnesota Twins, MInnesota Vikings, golf, and other sports on tv. Jerome was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm, and the American Legion Post #132 in New Ulm.
