A celebration of life memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3, at Peterson Brotheres Funeral Home in Willmar, with visitation starting at 1 p.m.

Dale was born Jan. 5, 1940, on the family farm in Raymond to Irvin and Irene (Thompson) Holtz.

He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve for 20 years achieving the rank of master sergeant.

Dale is survived by his wife, Andy; brother, Darrel Holtz; sister, Kathy Marcus, his two daughters, Sonya Ziegler, Deanna Talavera, five stepsons Bob, Jon, Roland, Bradley and Tim Beauto; four grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
