A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Salem Lutheran Church in Madelia with Pastor Volbrecht presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior with a luncheon to follow.

She was born on April 12, 1944 in New Ulm to Donald and Muriel (Zupfer) Schroeder.

Janet graduated from New Ulm High School in 1962. After graduation she attended Mankato Commercial College and graduated with a degree in accounting in 1964. After graduation she was employed at the State Bank of New Ulm as a bookkeeper.

Janet was united in marriage to Dean Neumann on December 28, 1966 in New Ulm, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she was also baptized and confirmed as her faith was a big part of her life.

Janet is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dean; her children Bill Neumann and Becky (Neumann) Wolters; her granddaughters Kaylie and Kelsey Wolters; her brother John (Bev) Schroeder; brothers-in-law, Irvin Neumann and Roger Wepplo, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister Jane (at birth); sister Sharon and parents-in-law Theodore and Margaret Neumann.
