Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Nicollet. Burial will take place in the Church of the Visitation Cemetery in Swan Lake Township at a later date.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church in Nicollet.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Mary is survived by her brother, Michael Giefer of St. Peter.

Mary Valen Giefer was born November 25, 1946, in St. Paul and later adopted by Leonard and Kathryn (Burg) Giefer.
