Visitation will be on Sunday, Aug. 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Springfield Public School Auditorium and will continue on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Springfield.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. The clergy will be Father Phil Schotzko. Interment will be in St. Raphael’s Catholic Cemetery in Springfield.

Gavin, son of Nick and Lindsy (Woidylla) Ludewig, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018. He was born on Feb. 16, 2009 in Springfield. Gavin was the middle child to older brother Jackson and younger brother Oliver. Gavin was a full of life little boy who lived life to the fullest. He loved competing and participated in Leavenworth baseball, wrestling, flag football, and many other activities. Gavin also enjoyed video games, causing trouble, swimming, and just being around people and enjoying life. To know Gavin was to love him, he was truly one of a kind.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brothers Jackson and Oliver; grandparents: Kevin and Rhonda Ludewig and Steve and Donna Woidylla; uncles and aunts: Josh (Trisha) Ludewig, Bobbi (Martin) Love, Megan Ludewig, and Lacy (Jesse) Johannes; cousins: Noah and Sam Love and Hoyt and Walker Johannes; and many extended family.
