Colleen K. (Weicherding) Johnson, age 86, of Bloomington. Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, passed away peacefully at Minnesota Masonic Home on July 24, 2018. Preceded in death by husband Gerald “Jerry”; parents Peter and Frances Weicherding; sisters Yvonne (Wallace) Strommen and Simone Hengel; sister-in-laws Frances (Les) Hansen, Alice (Ed) Rothmeier; brother-in-law Jerome (Audrey). Survived by children Scott (Cynthia), Jan, Craig (Lanette), Todd and Patrice (Dan); grandchildren Katie (Ryan), Ryan, Jesse (Melanie), Michael (Niki), Jacob, Benjamin (special friend, Tanya), Allison (special friend, Tyler), Melissa (special friend, Geoff) and Joshua; great-grandchildren Hayden, Owen, Kendall, Gavin, Josie, Edyth, and TJ; brother Gary Weicherding; brother-in-law Ray Hengel; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Our family would like to give a special thank you to the caregivers at Minnesota Masonic Home who took such great care of our Mother. Memorial Mass, 11 a.m. Friday, July 27 at Church of St. Edward, 9401 Nesbitt Ave, Bloomington with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church.
