Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 2, at the First Lutheran Church in Hector, with interment in the Hector City Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at the Hughes-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hector and at 10 a.m. on Monday at First Lutheran Church.

Marietta Martha Novotny was born Dec. 23, 1939, on the home farm in Round Grove Township, McLeod County, to Walter and Helena (Pagel) Rettig.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Novotny of Hector; daughters, Margaret Melich of Hector and Marjorie Schroeder of Renville; four grandchildren; sister, Janetta Augustine of Glencoe; brother, Clinton Rettig of Brownton.
