David A. Frederickson

NEW ULM — David A. Frederickson, age 56, of New Ulm, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the New Ulm Medical Center.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2018, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska with Pastor Sarah Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9 -11 am Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska. Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is assisting the family.

David is survived by his sisters, Dianne (Dick) Osborne of Mankato, Paulette (Denny) Nelson of Good Thunder, Doreen (Ed) Culnane of Lake Stevens, Washington; his brothers, Keith (Andrea) Frederickson of Hanska, Steven (Sue) Frederickson of Blue Earth, and Frederick (Connie) Frederickson of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Myrtle Frederickson.

David Alan Frederickson was born on October 30, 1961 in New Ulm to Donald and Myrtle (Broste) Frederickson. David attended school at Hanska and New Ulm Public Schools in the special education department and was later employed by MRCI in New Ulm. Besides his work, there were a variety of hobbies that brought David joy in life. He dearly enjoyed bowling, fishing, and visiting the family farm. David was always a social person and loved visiting with people, and also dearly loved animals. He was also known for his neatness and his polite demeanor. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Blessed be his memory.
