Ronald Arthur Windschitl was born August 21, 1963 to Raymond and Leora (Schaefer) Windschitl in New Ulm. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1981 in New Ulm and went on to pursue a degree from Ridgewater Technical College in 1983 in Hutchinson. Ron spent his career working as a mold maker and machinist, primarily operating out of the Twin Cities at various locations. A few years ago, he returned back to New Ulm where he retired. In his free time, Ron was an avid motorcycle and motor sports enthusiast. He often watched and participated in various motorcycle hill climbs and other racing events. Ron was also passionate about spending time with his family and friends. From attending various gatherings to bringing his mom chicken every Sunday, “Winny,” “Little Schitl,” (and many other beloved nicknames), Ron truly treasured the time he was able to spend with everyone, and especially his long time canine companion, Winston. He will be missed by all who knew him, blessed be his memory.
