Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 2 to 5 pm at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye.

Private family burial will be held at a later date.

Duward “Dewey” Duane Gaylord was born on February 15, 1942 in Crookston, MN to Manny & Annie (Stauning) Gaylord. Dewey married Rita (Wunsch) Sellner on February 22, 1983 in Brookings, SD. They were married for 35 years. They owned the Evan Inn Bar in Evan, MN and ran it for 12 years. They sold the bar and moved to Fairfax, MN where they owned and operated Dewey’s Auto Sales for 25 years. Dewey enjoyed old cars, fishing, having bon fires and spending time with his wife, Rita on the farm. Dewey is survived by his wife, Rita of Fairfax, step-son, Mark Sellner of Sleepy Eye, brother-in-law, Jerry (Marie) Wunsch of Sleepy Eye, sister-in-law, Karen Wunsch of Paynesville and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, John & Regina Wunsch, brother-in-law, Marvin Wunsch and sister-in-law, Marian (Wunsch) Johnson. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.
