Memorial service will be Saturday, March 10, 11 a.m., at American Lutheran Church in Gaylord with interment in High Island Cemetery in New Auburn at a later date. Arrangements by Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord.

Gathering of family and friends will be Friday, March 9, 4-8 p.m., at American Lutheran Church in Gaylord and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Lawrence August Polzin was born on Sept. 16, 1932, in New Auburn Township, Sibley County, to Walter and Sylvia (Wegner) Polzin.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Carole Polzin of Gaylord; children, Ron Polzin of Mankato, Jeff Polzin of Courtland, Barb Polzin of St. Cloud, and Jim Polzin of Arlington; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Eleanor Marth of Gaylord, and Robert Polzin of Hutchinson.
