A celebration of life service is at Peace United Methodist Church in Pipestone, on March 9, at 2 p.m. Visitation is two hours before the service. A private family burial will be at Old Woodlawn Cemetery in Pipestone at a later date. Sturm Funeral Home of Sleepy Eye will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Carole Rae Eichinger was born in Slayton on Feb. 1, 1938, to George and Erma (Knee) Eichinger.

Carole is survived by her children Becky Tish, Sherburn; Cliff Martens, Jr, Norwood/Young America; Jim Martens, Nicollet, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sisters DeEtte Fenske and Rita Capps, and brother Jim Eichinger.
