He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Gerald Albright; infant sister, Rae JoAnn; and son-in-law, Gary Fitzer.

Ronald Lyle Albright was born October 2, 1929 in Lafayette to Raymond and Florence (Wahlquist) Albright. He grew up in Lafayette and was a lifetime member of the Lafayette Municipal Band since age 12. On June 21, 1953, Ron was united in marriage to the love of his life, Frances Jaus at the Zion Lutheran Church in Winthrop. After serving in the U.S. Army Dental Corps from 1954-1956 where he was stationed in Korea and Japan, Ron moved to New Ulm where he began his 43 year dental practice. To give back to his community, Ron served on the New Ulm School Board, numerous committees with the First United Methodist Church, the board of directors with the Presbyterian Family Foundation in Wilmar, the Lion’s Club, as well as the District and State Dental Societies. After retiring in 1996, Ron dearly enjoyed volunteering his time at the New Ulm Medical Center. What brought him the most joy in life though was spending time with his family. Ron enjoyed spending time at their lake cabin where he was able to teach his granddaughters how to fish and play cards. He also enjoyed taking things apart and making repairs around the house. Many wonderful memories were made over the years on deer hunting trips, and while playing the baritone in the New Ulm and Lafayette Municipal Bands. Ron was a dedicated lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in New Ulm.

During his final months of life, Ron received the tenderest of care from the staff of Allina Hospice and Oak Hills Living Center for which his family is eternally grateful.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Allina Hospice, or the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
