Service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in Springfield on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the Springfield City Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Jan. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church and will continue on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.

Derek was born on Sept. 29, 1986, to Randy and Rose (Amsden) Haseleu in the Springfield Community Hospital.

Derek is survived by his parents, Randy and Rose Haseleu of Springfield; sister Ashley Schmitt; brother, Brent Haseleu of Morgan; and grandparents William and Leola Haseleu of Clements.
