Service will be held at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye, on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at 1 pm. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sleepy Eye, at a later date.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Brenda Kay Stelzer was born on Nov. 14, 1955 in Springfield to Sylvan and Shirley (Macht) Mathiowetz.

She is survived by sons, Corey Gruendemann of Franklin, Jason Gruendemann of Springfield and Travis Gruendemann of Redwood Falls, nine grandchildren; a brother, Stanley Stelzer of North Redwood and sister, Cheryl Easterday of Worthington.
