Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. on Monday, December 18, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles. Burial will follow in the St. John the Baptist Catholic cemetery in rural Searles.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, and continue from 7:30-9 a.m. on Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.

Marion is survived by her husband, Gerald Scheibel of New Ulm; daughters, Sandy Scheibel of New Ulm, Stacy Melzer of Motley; sons, Michael, Brad, Clayton Scheibel, all of New Ulm; 7 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Freiderich of New Ulm, Kathleen Zangel of Arizona; brother, Tom Zangel of Mankato.

Marion Mathilda Zangel was born May 12, 1943 in New Ulm to David and Helen (Postel) Zangel.
