Services are Monday, November 27 at 11 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Canby.

Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. at Hartquist Funeral Home, Utoft-Johansen Chapel in Tyler. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery at Canby.

Michael John Sperl was born August 9, 1962, to Walter and Brenda (Lake) Sperl in New Ulm

Mike is survived by his wife, Heather; his children, Jessica Sperl of Ghent, Justin Sperl of Marshall, Caleb Sperl of Harrisburg, S.D., and Danielle Sperl of St. James; 5 grandchildren; his mother, Brenda Hall of Mountainair, N.M.; siblings, Kathy Sperl of Wisconsin Dells, Wis., Gail Fidler of Milton, Pa., MaryAnn Reibel of Mankato, and Margaret Johnson of New Ulm.
