Alice Pauline Barrett was born on December 21, 1945 in Wells, MN to Lloyd and Irma (Strehlo) Barrett. She graduated from New Ulm High School. Alice was united in marriage to Gene Rosenau on November 9, 1963 at the Cambria Presbyterian Church. Together with her husband, Alice raised her family of three in New Ulm where she worked a variety of jobs over her career. Early in life, she worked at the Super Sweet Research Farm in Courtland but later went into the banking industry. Over the years, Alice worked for Norwest Bank in Marshall, American Bank in Mankato, and Alliance Bank in New Ulm before her retirement in 2010. Besides her work, Alice was also involved with her community and church. She served as a Cub Scout Leader for years, and also as a Deacon at the Cambria Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed her work, and serving her church, but what brought her the greatest joy was her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Blessed be her memory.
