Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m., at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Per Ruth’s wishes, no other services will be held.

The family prefers memorials be directed to Redwood County Hospice, the Humane Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Ruth Marie Mahoney was born May 14, 1928 in New Ulm TO Seth and Esther (Reim) Church.

She is survived by her daughters Sandra Sontag of Mankato, Terri Peterson of Mankato, Lorri Zieske of Sacred Heart, and Patricia Wells of Rosemount; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
